JTC X-CHANGE 

Since 2010 The JTC X-CHANGE, INC. has been a driving force in the H.E.B. Schools.  Programs such as "Fathers to Dads", an 18- Month Pilot Program funded by the Health Dept., was geared to mentor young Fathers Ages 13-19 at Bell & Trinity High School, as well as Keys, an Alternative School. 

 

In 2011, they began participating in the  H.E.B. School's mentoring program, designed for both boy & girl students alike from ages 16-18 (Grades 10-12). Twice a month the team follows a curriculum, designed and approved by the district, that is geared to empower, motivate  and prepare these young people to embrace their future.  The team started with 3 mentors and 3 classrooms, mentoring approximently 60 students to now rotating 7 to 10 mentors that cover approximently 150 students twice a month. 

 

This experience has influenced this team to expand their services to serveral cities within the State of Texas as well as other neighboring States such as Kansas & Missouri .  If you are interested in joining the JTC Team please email us through our "Contact Page".  All mentors are subject to a Background check.
